Cement

Fiber cement panel in India
Fiber cement is a composite material that is made of sand, cement and cellulose fibers. Cement industry has occupied large portion of our economy. India is the second largest producer of cement in the country. The demand of cement increased because of the construction-taking place every now and then. Different projects as given by the government like construction of roads, dams, metro has increased the demand of cement. This has given boost to cement industry in our country. As already said above India’s cement industry is a vital part of its economy, provides employment to millions of people.

Usage of Fiber cement-
·         As an exterior siding-
They are very durable as compared to other products that’s why they are used as an exterior siding.
·         As a support for tiled walls-
Since they are water-resistant and water proof, hence they are used as a supporting tool for tiled walls.
·         As a underlayment for flooring-
Since they provide support and smooth as well as strong surface they are used as underlayment for flooring.
Benefits offered by fiber cement-
·         Durability-
It is durable as compared to other materials. It is free from termites as well as any type of termites.
·         Fire safety
It is a non-combustible material, which is used widely in fire prone areas.
·         Safety-
It is very safe to use
Disadvantages-
·         Sliding is costly
·         Require more labor to deliver and install.
·         It requires painting after sometime.
·         It requires maintenance too.
Now the question arises what is a fiber cement panel
Fiber cement panel is a building material that covers exterior of a building in both commercial as well as domestic. Sheet sizes differ from manufacturer to manufacturer, which also includes their thickness.
How to install fiber cement siding?
It is installed over the wall with solid wood sheathing and foam, attached with nails and other materials. The cost of the panel depends exclusively on its size. As the size increases the cost also increases.
Below given is the list of fiber cement panels in India-
·         India mart
·         Trade India
·         Gyproc fiber India ltd.
·         Everest industries
And many more. These companies provide with the best of fiber cement that is available across the country. The demand of fiber panel is increasing because of the construction taking places every now and then. Increase in number of buildings and offices has increased the demand of fiber cement siding. Fiber cement panel in India is growing at a very fast rate.
These fiber cement boards are the most preferred construction material that is being used because of the benefit it offers. It is a superior thermal insulation hence its ideal for extreme climatic conditions. In addition, some fiber cement boards have sound resistant and also they are water resistant.
Thus every company promises to offer best of the fiber cement panel. Construction next is also among them that has best of fiber cement.

Cement Manufacturing Process

Steps involved in cement manufacturing process
Basically cement is a quality rated material which is greatly compatible to Eco system of earth and mainly adaptable to the sustainable development. It is basically a fine powder that gets sets on its own after some hours, if mixed properly with some water. It gets converted in solid matter as a strong material afterwards. The cement material is used for binding the coarse aggregates and fine sand together in a concrete. The cement is known as hydraulic binder which gets harder after getting mixed with water. The Portland cement was invented in 1824 by the Joseph Aspidin who is known as the bricklayer or Leeds builder widely.
Under the process generated by the Aspdin, he mixed well the ground harder limestone and divided the clay in calcined and slurry similar to lime kiln, until the carbon di oxide gets expelled. The calcined mixture grounded in fine powder was used and known as Portland cement further. The cement named as Portland originated from the natural stone which is in England, called largely as Portland. The Portland cement first got produced in the year 1904 in Chennai, near Madras by the south Indian Industries Ltd and further it got developed by Indian cement Ltd in 1914. Presently the cement price worldwide is pretty much affordable, and moreover the price range and quality of cement differs from company to company.
cement manufacturing process
The basic components or raw materials used in cement manufacturing process
·         Limestone
·         Clay
·         Bauxite
·         Iron core
Under the process of cement making, the mixing composition of such raw materials include the following
·         Limestone: 90-93%
·         Clay 2-3%
·         Bauxite 2-3%
·         Iron ore: 1-2%
The various steps involved in cement manufacturing process
Mining of limestone
1.      the preparation of raw materials
2.      Crushing of raw materials in proportionate amount, its blending, grinding and storing
3.      The burning of the raw mixture
The most used and common method of manufacturing the Portland cement is making use of dry method. Under this, the raw materials get quarried as clay, limestone and other materials. After its quarrying, the rock gets crushed which involves different stages, the crushing lessen the rock size to about 6 inch and further that rocks gets a secondary crush or used in hammer mill for reducing more its size to 3 inches or more. The crushed rock can be a combination of other components as fly ash, iron ore, mixed, ground % fed to cement kiln.
The cement price keeps on fluctuating as well. The different companies engaged in the process of cement manufacturing fixes their cement prices after complete production. It even varied according to city, state or region. The cement is considered as the important factor for building any house, bridges, flyovers, residential building, office space and much more. Without it, no construction can be done, thus and known as critical for the construction industry which gets hardens, if mixed properly with water.
